Tattoos and piercings are very popular these days... but is it really worth a permanent mark on your body? In my opinion, I like tattoos and piercings. I think they are a great way to express yourself. I only have my ears and my bellybutton pierced but in a few years, I want to get a tattoo.
It is important to think about your motivation, options, choices, and the consequences of body art, however. You may think a tattoo is really sweet...but a year later, you might hate it and now it can't be removed. It can also be dangerous. You should talk to people to seek out information about a tattoo shop/piercing place before you get it done... infections from piercings and tattoos are VERY dangerous and could sometimes even result in death. You should also think about the reactions you might get from certain people. Some people may not hire you in the future for a job because of your tattoos and/or piercings. I would also make sure that the place I was getting my tattoo/piercing done was extremely clean. Because dirty places are obviously more prone to result in infection. In my opinion, body art is a good thing and I would not discriminate someone against it. But some people do. So everyone should consider whether or not it would be worth it.

Tattoos are cool! Im just not a fan of getting your whole body tattoo'd, but getting a couple to express youself is cool
Good post, I agree with this completely. I have my ears pierced and gauged- and some people think it's repulsive. But I think we all have the right to do what we want with our bodies- we are the ones who have to wear it after all.
